Netgear WNR2000

How to Factory Reset the Netgear WNR2000 Wi-Fi Wireless Router

  1. Unplug your router.
  2. Find the location of the factory reset button on your WNR2000 router.
  3. Plug in your WNR2000 to power it on.
  4. Press and hold in the reset button for 18 seconds.
  5. Wait 2-3 minutes until your router has fully reset and restarted.
  6. You can now access your WNR2000 using the factory default IP address and username / password.

NOTE: If the factory (also known as hard) reset button on your Netgear WNR2000 is too small to push with your finger, try using an object such as the tip of a paper clip. This is often the best way to press the reset button on Netgear routers.
