How to Factory Reset the Netgear N750 (WNDR4000) Wi-Fi Wireless Router

  1. Unplug your router.
  2. Find the location of the factory reset button on your WNDR4000 router.
  3. Plug in your N750 (WNDR4000) to power it on.
  4. Press and hold in the reset button for 21 seconds.
  5. Wait 2-3 minutes until your router has fully reset and restarted.
  6. You can now access your N750 (WNDR4000) using the factory default IP address and username / password.

NOTE: If the factory (also known as hard) reset button on your Netgear N750 (WNDR4000) is too small to push with your finger, try using an object such as the tip of a paper clip. This is often the best way to press the reset button on Netgear routers.
