How to Factory Reset the D-Link DIR-X1870 (AX1800) Wi-Fi Wireless Router

1. Unplug your router.
2. Find the location of the factory reset button on your D-Link DIR-X1870 router.
3. Plug in your DIR-X1870 to power it on.
4. Press and hold in the reset button for 10 seconds.
5. Wait 2-3 minutes until your router has fully reset and restarted.
6. You can now reconfigure your router using the default credentials.

NOTE: If the factory (also known as hard) reset button on your D-Link DIR-X1870 is too small to push with your finger, try using an object such as the tip of a paper clip.

This is often the best way to press the reset button on D-Link routers.

D-Link DIR-X1870 Default Login Credentials

After performing a factory reset, your D-Link DIR-X1870 will be restored to its default settings. Use the following credentials to access the router’s admin panel:

• Default IP Address: 192.168.0.1
• Default Username: admin
• Default Password: (blank — leave empty)

Open a web browser and navigate to 192.168.0.1 or http://dlinkrouter.local to access the D-Link DIR-X1870 setup wizard.
