How to Factory Reset the Amazon eero 6 Mesh Wi-Fi Router

1. Find the reset button on the bottom of your eero 6 router.
2. Press and hold the reset button for at least 15 seconds until the LED status light flashes red.
3. Release the button and wait for the eero to restart. The LED will turn solid white when it is ready.
4. Wait 2-3 minutes until your eero 6 has fully reset and restarted.
5. Open the eero app on your mobile device to set up the router again from scratch.

NOTE: A factory reset will remove the eero 6 from your eero network and erase all settings. You will need to set it up again using the eero mobile app. Unlike most routers, eero devices do not have a traditional web-based admin panel — all configuration is done through the eero app (available on iOS and Android).

If the reset button on your eero 6 is recessed, try using an object such as the tip of a paper clip to press it.

Amazon eero 6 Default Login Credentials

After performing a factory reset, your eero 6 will be restored to its default settings. The eero 6 does not use traditional router login credentials. Instead, all setup and management is done through the eero mobile app:

• Default IP Address: 192.168.4.1
• Default Username: None (managed via eero app)
• Default Password: None (managed via eero app)

Download the eero app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Sign in with your Amazon account or eero account, then follow the in-app setup wizard to configure your eero 6 network.
